Before Root Canal Therapy

Please take all your medications that you take regularly. If there is a contradiction with the treatment needed instructions will be given at the initial visit and your physician will be contacted prior to treatment. If you plan on starting treatment at your first visit, please eat a meal prior to arriving. You will not be able to eat for at least 1 hour following treatment. After treatment, the local anesthetic will still be effective and may last 1-2 more hours. Please plan your remaining day activities accordingly.
